NCAM is sponsoring Kyler’s Big Heart Benefit Concert

NCAM Foundation is acting as the Fiscal Sponsor for this event. As a registered Oregon 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our mission is to support all art and music on the coast. This benefit concert is something that has struck a personal chord with all of us.

As many have learned, the Cavitt’s lost their eldest son to undiagnosed heart condition. He was very healthy and just started working construction in Arizona when an undiagnosed heart issue appeared suddenly and fatally. It felt like a situation no one could have figured out in advance, and emergency responders did everything within their power, but Kyler was destined to move on at the tender age of 28.

Music and community are coming together to remember Kyler and what was important to him. We hope the music and togetherness helps bring some healing and a bit of comfort. This event is raising money for our local emergency responders. Whenever there is a large concert or event, emergency responders are required to be there, so it’s important to recognize they are part of the team that makes these wonderful concerts possible.

Dennis and Amanda Cavitt along with their businesses give back to this community and create lots of opportunities for live music. Let’s put on a great show to honor Kyler’s memory, build awareness of these hidden heart issues that take 1 in 50,000 away from us far too early, and raise money so that emergency responders have the best training possible should they encounter a similar medical crisis.

Please use the QR code in the poster above to purchase tickets. All donations can be tax deductible, donors will receive a receipt from our organization reflecting this.

Thanks to everyone for keeping live music a regular occurance on the coast!
